Summer is over, the weather is on the turn from blisteringly hot, to slightly drizzly, a little miserable and chilly.

This change can only mean one thing is about to happen… Halloween is on it’s way!

We love this spooky time of year at the Scrapstore. It means we get to be even more creative with our scrap resources! Our members come in with all manner of weird and wonderful costume ideas and always manage to impress us with their creativity. Why not come in and take a look?

Our Lacock Half Term Art Clubs (25/10, 26/10, 29/10, 30/10, 31/10, 01/1102/11) are filled with witches, wizards and scary monsters. Keep an eye on our Cafe, as we’ll have lots of seasonal cakes and foods to tempt your taste-buds, and keep you warm at this cold time of year!

Our Patron, Neil Griffiths, will be in the Wilton Community Centre on 31/10/2018, reading and performing his children’s book; Shaun the Shy Shark! Not only will he be reading from it, but afterwards the children attending will take part in a crafting workshop!

If you can’t make it to our craft workshops and events over the half term, there’s no need to worry! We have lots of Halloween Craft Packs available in all of our outlets including Lacock Scrapstore, Wilton Scrapstore and Barty’s of Lacock and now online! All of which are ideal to get you and your family in the spooky mood and are perfect for decorating your house for this time of year!
