Wiltshire Scrapstore are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help throughout our environmental and community charity. You will be working as part of a happy, hardworking team where every day can be different! So, if you don’t mind a challenge, please take a look at the opportunities below.
In order for you to benefit from volunteering, we always ask for a minimum of a half day (3-4 hours) a week.
Full training will be given for each opportunity.
This volunteering opportunity is based at Wiltshire Scrapstore, Lacock.
Duties will include driving our van to collect materials from businesses around Wiltshire. You will also be helping to restock our warehouse and storage area plus prepping and pricing goods as and when necessary.
You will need to be organised, happy to work independently and able to handle heavy loads. A clean driving license is essential.
Opportunities are available from Tuesday to Friday.
We need retail volunteers at our unique little shop in Lacock called Barty’s and also at our Scrapstore in Wilton.
You will be meeting and greeting our customer’s, handling cash and card transactions, restocking and making sure our displays are well presented. You will need to be happy to work independently at Barty’s.
Morning, Afternoon and weekend times are available. This will be an ideal opportunity to gain retail experience for your CV!
We need volunteers to work as part of a small team, in our community café called Barty’s, situated at Wiltshire Scrapstore, Lacock. You will be helping to prepare and serve freshly made sandwiches, panini’s and toasties to visitors to our cafe. You will also be using a Barista coffee machine, full training will be given.
