North Wiltshire Sustainability Day – Saturday 20th October 2018, 9am – 7pm, Town Hall, Chippenham SN15 3ER
The 2018 event follows the successful 2017 North Wiltshire Sustainability Day held in Malmesbury.
The event consists of exhibitions and displays, films, talks and presentations on various topics from climate change and electric vehicles, and from plastic recycling to saving our oceans.
Speakers include Molly Scott-Cato (Member of the European Parliament for the South West), Mark Lynas (Author of ‘Six Degrees – Our Future on a Hotter Planet’), Natalie Fee (Founder of City to Sea), Kevin Fothergill (Chairman of the Hydrogen Hub), Dan Green (Sustainability Director, Wessex Water) and many more…
Exhibitors include: Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, Bristol Avon Rivers Trust, Friends of the Earth, Ramblers Association, Off the Ground, Refill Chippenham, Transition Marlborough, Transition Town Corsham, Sustainable Devizes, Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon, Chippenham and Villages Environmentalists.
The Wiltshire Scapstore will also be there to entertain the ‘younger generation’!
The Day will be both educational and entertaining.
