Meet Our Team
JANE – Director
Jane joined The Scrapstore in 2002 after many years of teaching to begin The Scrapstore’s Creative Educational Workshop Programme with schools across Wiltshire. Jane became the charities director in 2008. Jane oversees the general running of the charity and can regularly be found supporting the staff in the café, reception Barty’s of Lacock shop, & Wilton Scrapstore
Tom started volunteering for the Scrapstore in the Summer of 2012 after graduating from University. Tom became a member of staff in 2014. You can usually find him in the Café, in the warehouse, or on reception in our Lacock Scrapstore. Tom is our official photographer, social media manager and runs our online shop. Tom has also been instrumental in developing and maintaining the content for our new website.
IAN – Scrapstore Centre Assistant
Ian wears many hats and is the font of all knowledge when it comes to SmArt Cuts! You will also find him in Barty’s Of Lacock and travelling around Wiltshire collecting material from our suppliers.
GLYNIS – Assistant Director
Glynis was previously a manager for British Telecom. She came to the Scrapstore in 2004 as a Centre Assistant, responsible for volunteers & developing SmArt-cut craft packs. She became Assistant Director in 2008 and is responsible for income generation, including Retail, Warehouse and Social Enterprise areas. She also manages over 70 volunteers who help throughout The Scrapstore.

Keen crafter and avid fun person, Kate has been with the Scrapstore since 2008. She has a wealth of knowledge in many areas of crafting such as Wet Felting & Mosaics and brings this experience to running our workshops.
Kate wears many hats including Warehouse Supervisor and you will often see her on the road collecting materials from suppliers. Creative Workshop Leader Kate enjoys running big community workshops throughout Wiltshire and finally Playpods Co-ordinator Kate runs all of the Playpod training and mentoring programme for Wiltshire and border areas.
If you ring the Scrapstore between the days of Monday to Thursday, Vicky is probably the lady you’ll most likely speak to. She handles our membership database, sends out our emails and takes a lot of bookings (especially during half terms)!
Helen joined The Scrapstore in 2009 and could be seen all around Wiltshire driving our mobile Scrapstore “The Scrapmobile”.
Helen is the welcoming face at reception and the font of all knowledge when it comes to retail. She is always busy ordering & re-stocking our 3 shops. Helen answers calls in Vicky’s absence booking workshops and fielding questions.
Jo is our Thursday and Friday person at Wilton
Jo originally studied Fashion and Textiles at Art College and then went on to run her own business for many years in the leisure clothing industry.
More recently she went back to her creative roots running arts and crafts sessions for people with disabilities.
At present Jo runs a T-Shirt printing business and spends 2 days a week working and having fun at the Wilton Scrapstore!
