The King’s Award for Voluntary Service

We had a visit from the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, who presented us with a certificate and a crystal – our King’s Award for Voluntary Service! This award is the equivalent of a lifetime MBE for the voluntary sector!

Such an amazing tribute to our amazing and talented volunteers – many of whom turned up to show the wonderful creations they make using our donated resources.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to our hard working and dedicated volunteers for the hundreds of hours a week they put in to make the Scrapstore the charity it is, and another massive thank you to the Lord Lieutenant, Lady Lansdowne and Josephine Del Marr for helping to make the day so special.

We can’t wait for you all to see the award on display!
