Now Here’s A Challenge!
60 Different Things To Celebrate Your Sixtieth .
This was Allan Bond’s personal challenge for his significant birthday. So we threw down the gauntlet and invited Allan to join us for a days volunteering here at the Scrapstore. It’s safe to say he had an enjoyable day travelling around the county in our van, collecting all sorts of amazing supplies from the businesses around Wiltshire that support us!!
“This was an unusual challenge but I took up the invitation and as they say ran with it.”
“I would definitely recommend volunteering, I might even go back next month”.
Here’s a snapshot of Allan’s day – we are pleased to say he kept smiling! A big thank-you from us.
Meet some of our talented volunteers.
Remember, you don’t need to have a specific skill to volunteer and be useful at the Scrapstore, we really appreciate your time.
We currently have over 70 people volunteering on a regular basis – we even have companies donating a day of their time with employees taking on tasks as a group “team building” activity .
